We are currently working with a not-for-profit organisation in Central Cambridge who are looking for a Policy and Research Manager to join their team on a full-time permanent basis, although part-time hours will also be considered. This is a hybrid role, with only a couple of days a month needed in their Cambridge office.
Main duties will include:
- Managing the delivery of policy-related projects and programmes
- Coordinating contributions to European research and policy projects
- Conducting evidence-based research, sector reviews, and analysis
- Preparing project reports, policy briefings, and stakeholder summaries
- Developing and facilitating workshops, advisory groups, and engagement events
- Building and managing relationships with external stakeholders and partner organisations
- Supporting the development of funding bids and project proposals
The successful candidate will have:
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams to deadline
- Experience working with universities and/or within higher education environments
- Strong qualitative and quantitative research and analysis skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building experience
- Good IT skills including Microsoft Office packages and online meeting platforms
- Ability and willingness to travel in the UK and internationally when required
