We are supporting a leading defence organisation with the appointment of a Weapon System Electrical Integration Architect to support the integration of complex electrical equipment into a cutting-edge weapon system. The role will focus on electrical architecture, equipment integration and supplier delivery, working across multiple disciplines to ensure a coherent, compliant and high-performing system. Typical responsibilities include: Acting as the primary technical interface between the weapon system and internal and external Equipment Design Authorities Defining, managing and developing electrical requirements across the project lifecycle Supporting system-level integration, verification and acceptance of equipment Owning Statements of Work for equipment suppliers and leading technical reviews, progress meetings and project milestones Managing technical risks and monitoring supplier delivery against cost, schedule, performance and quality requirements The ideal candidate will have: Strong understanding of systems engineering and system integration within complex products Experience defining requirements at system, subsystem or equipment level A background in electrical integration, power distribution or equipment design, ideally within defence, aerospace or maritime environments Experience working with external suppliers or managing technical delivery packages Familiarity with verification, validation and certification processes, alongside experience producing technical documentation and working with configuration management tools This position offers a lucrative benefits package, which includes but is not limited to: Company bonus scheme, based on company performance Strong employer pension contribution Opportunity for paid overtime Generous flexi leave allowance, with additional days available Flexible working arrangements welcomed Enhanced parental leave, covering maternity, adoption, shared parental and paternity leave, plus neonatal leave and fertility testing/treatment support Excellent on-site facilities, including subsidised meals and free car parking Please note that due to the nature of the client's business, only candidates who currently hold full British Citizenship without limitations, or Dual Nationality inclusive of British Citizenship, will be considered.
