We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client based in Bristol, who is looking for an Audit Senior/Assistant Manager on a permanent full-time basis. This role would be largely office based, and our client is looking for someone with experience in a similar role.
Typical duties include:
- Leading fieldwork on audit assignments across a diverse portfolio of clients
- Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts and supporting workpapers
- Supervising and mentoring junior team members on-site and remotely
- Liaising directly with clients, acting as a key point of contact during fieldwork
- Assisting with audit planning, risk assessment, and completion processes
- Supporting managers with technical issues and file reviews
- Ensuring compliance with UK GAAP and auditing standards
You will have:
- ACA or ACCA part-qualified or newly qualified
- Strong technical audit and accounts preparation skills
- Confident communicator with some client-facing experience
- Ability to manage workloads across multiple assignments
- Proactive, detail-focused, and keen to develop supervisory responsibility
