We are supporting a leading defence organisation with the appointment of an Analogue and Digital Electronic Design Engineer to join its Electronic Engineering team in Stevenage. The role offers the chance to work across the full electronic design lifecycle, contributing to the development, testing and delivery of advanced products within a highly technical engineering environment. Typical responsibilities include: Taking ownership of board-level electronic design, including schematic capture, prototyping, functional testing and proving activities Working with other Electronic Engineering teams to support the integration of electronics within wider products Using circuit simulation, DFMEA and other development techniques to produce robust electronic designs Supporting products throughout the lifecycle from feasibility through to production transfer, including industrial validation and quality assurance Contributing to research and continuous improvement activities across the Electronic Engineering function The ideal candidate will have: Experience in electronic design, development and delivery A broad understanding of electronic technologies and products The ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary engineering environment A structured approach to solving technical challenges and developing robust design solutions The ability to contribute to projects throughout the full product development lifecycle This position offers a lucrative benefits package, which includes but is not limited to: Company bonus scheme, based on company performance Strong employer pension contribution Opportunity for paid overtime Generous flexi leave allowance, with additional days available Flexible working arrangements welcomed Enhanced parental leave, covering maternity, adoption, shared parental and paternity leave, plus neonatal leave and fertility testing/treatment support Excellent on-site facilities, including subsidised meals and free car parking Healthcare Cash Plan, providing support with everyday healthcare expenses including optical, dental, health and wellbeing Please note that due to the nature of the client's business, only candidates who currently hold full British Citizenship without limitations, or Dual Nationality inclusive of British Citizenship, will be considered.
