We are working with a highly regarded law firm seeking a proactive and organised Paralegal to join their Private Client team in a centralised support capacity. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a collaborative environment that values both high-quality client care and professional development.
The Role
You will work closely with Partners, Solicitors, and fellow Paralegals, providing centralised support across a range of private client matters. This is a dynamic position suited to someone who enjoys variety and thrives in a busy, team-focused environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing legal and administrative support across a range of Private Client matters, including Wills, Probate, and Lasting Powers of Attorney
- Supporting fee earners with file management and progression of matters
- Drafting legal documents including Wills, correspondence, and applications
- Handling correspondence with clients, third parties, and external organisations in a professional manner
- Assisting with the preparation of probate applications and estate administration
- Managing and maintaining accurate client records and documentation
- Acting as a point of contact for clients, delivering a high level of client care
- Supporting multiple fee earners across the team as required
- Ensuring compliance with internal procedures and regulatory standards
About You
We are looking for a proactive and organised individual with a genuine interest in Private Client work. You will have:
- Previous experience within Private Client (essential)
- A good understanding of Wills, Probate, and estate administration processes
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Word and Excel
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational ability with the ability to prioritise workload effectively
- A flexible, proactive, and “can-do” attitude
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- A high level of attention to detail and sensitivity when dealing with clients
