We are recruiting for a Commercial Property Solicitor to join a well-established regional law firm with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality commercial property advice. This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative and ambitious team handling a broad range of commercial property matters across the Midlands.
The firm is looking for a motivated and capable solicitor who can begin to manage their own caseload under guidance, with support from experienced colleagues. You will join a supportive and stable team offering genuine development opportunities, exposure to varied client matters, and a clear path for long-term career progression.
Typical duties would include:
- Managing a varied commercial property caseload including acquisitions, disposals, landlord and tenant matters, and development projects.
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial property documentation including leases, deeds of assignment, and overage agreements.
- Advising clients including businesses, developers, and investors on transactional matters.
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships and supporting business development activity.
- Collaborating with colleagues while taking increasing responsibility for your own files as experience grows.
The successful candidate:
- Has up to 4 years PQE in commercial property.
- Is confident assisting on their own matters with guidance and support.
- Demonstrates strong technical knowledge and commercial awareness.
- Possesses excellent client care and communication skills.
- Is proactive, organised, and able to manage competing deadlines effectively.
- Is eager to learn, contribute to the team, and develop into a fully autonomous fee earner.
