We are instructed by a well-regarded Legal 500 law firm to recruit an Employment Associate or Senior Associate (1+ PQE) as part of the continued growth of its specialist employment team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative and ambitious practice, acting on a broad range of complex and high-value employment matters. The firm offers high-quality work, strong client exposure, and genuine progression opportunities within a supportive and commercially focused environment.

The Role

  • You will advise on a broad range of contentious and non-contentious employment matters, including:
    • Managing your own caseload of Employment Tribunal claims
    • Advising on workplace disputes, disciplinary and grievance matters, and exits
    • Supporting on High Court litigation and injunction matters where required
    • Providing strategic, day-to-day employment law advice to clients
    • Drafting pleadings, witness statements, settlement agreements, and advisory documents
    • Assisting on complex and sensitive disputes
    • Participating in networking, marketing, and business development initiatives

Candidate Profile

  • Applications are invited from solicitors with at least 1 year’s PQE who can demonstrate some of the below:
    • Experience in employment law, including Employment Tribunal matters
    • Exposure to litigation, ideally including High Court proceedings
    • Strong drafting, analytical, and advocacy skills
    • A proactive and commercially minded approach
    • Excellent client care and relationship management ability
    • The confidence to manage matters with appropriate supervision
    • A desire to contribute to the continued growth of the practice
