Senior Associate – Employment Location: London Salary: £105,000 - £135,000 We are working with a highly regarded law firm seeking an ambitious Senior Associate or Legal Director with 5+ years' PQE to join its established Employment team, working predominantly with senior executive clients. This is an excellent opportunity to help develop and grow a specialist Senior Executive practice over the longer term, working alongside experienced partners in the field, with genuine scope for progression towards partnership. Key Responsibilities Advising senior executives, partners, founders and C-suite individuals on appointment and exit matters, including service agreements, settlement agreements, restrictive covenants and equity or incentive arrangements. Supporting senior individuals through disciplinary, whistleblowing, grievance and regulatory investigations, including related remuneration matters. Handling negotiations with employers and their advisers, working collaboratively with colleagues across tax, incentives, corporate, disputes and regulatory teams where appropriate. Working as part of a team on complex, high-value tribunal and High Court litigation, alongside some employer-side advisory work. Contributing to business development and marketing initiatives as part of the firm's strategy to further develop its Senior Executive practice. The Ideal Candidate A qualified Solicitor with 5+ years' PQE and strong employment law experience, ideally with exposure to senior executives, founders or C-suite individuals. Experience advising clients within Financial Services, Professional Services or listed/plc environments would be advantageous. Sound judgement, discretion and confidence when handling sensitive, time-critical or high-profile matters. A collaborative approach, with an interest in working across related disciplines including partnership, regulatory, tax and corporate. Genuine ambition for career progression, alongside an appetite for business development and developing a personal client following.
