We are seeking a motivated and technically strong solicitor to join a highly regarded Will Disputes & Contentious Probate team. The role offers exposure to a broad and varied contentious probate caseload, working closely with our Wills, Trusts and Estates team as part of a collaborative and growing practice.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Managing a varied caseload of contentious probate matters
  • Dealing with executor and administrator disputes, including removal applications
  • Assisting with estate administration disputes and trust-related litigation
  • Supporting Court of Protection disputes
  • Running your own files
  • Liaising with clients, counsel, experts, and other third parties
  • Drafting legal documents, correspondence, and court papers

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • 3–5 years’ experience in civil litigation, with exposure to contentious probate work
  • Ideally some experience in both contentious probate and non-contentious private client work
  • Strong litigation skills with the ability to manage a caseload independently
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A proactive and client-focused approach
