The predicted salary is between 40000 - 50000 £ per year.

We are currently working with a not-for-profit organisation in Central Cambridge who are looking for a Policy and Research Manager to join their team on a full-time permanent basis, although part-time hours will also be considered. This is a hybrid role, with only a couple of days a month needed in their Cambridge office.

Main duties will include:

  • Managing the delivery of policy-related projects and programmes
  • Coordinating contributions to European research and policy projects
  • Conducting evidence-based research, sector reviews, and analysis
  • Preparing project reports, policy briefings, and stakeholder summaries
  • Developing and facilitating workshops, advisory groups, and engagement events
  • Building and managing relationships with external stakeholders and partner organisations
  • Supporting the development of funding bids and project proposals

The successful candidate will have:

  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams to deadline
  • Experience working with universities and/or within higher education environments
  • Strong qualitative and quantitative research and analysis skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building experience
  • Good IT skills including Microsoft Office packages and online meeting platforms
  • Ability and willingness to travel in the UK and internationally when required
