We are working with a leading international disputes firm seeking a Senior Associate to join its London team. This is an opportunity to work on high-value, complex international matters within a specialist disputes practice with a focus on commercial and investment arbitration.
The role will involve leading cases on a range of international arbitration and complex litigation matters. This includes exposure to commercial arbitration and investment arbitration across many different jurisdictions.
Responsibilities include:
- Leading on high-value, multi-jurisdictional disputes
- Drafting submissions, pleadings and legal memoranda
- Conducting detailed legal research across complex legal issues
- Reviewing evidence and supporting case strategy development
- Assisting with hearing preparation, including bundles and witness materials
- Supporting arbitration proceedings under major institutional rules (e.g. ICC, LCIA, ICSID)
- Liaising with clients, counsel and international teams
Candidate Profile
Candidates will be 5-7 PQE. Competitive candidates will be qualified in a respected jurisdiction with experience in commercial and investment arbitration from a leading firm. Top US/Magic Circle/Silver Circle/GAR and similar experience is highly valued. A strong academic background is expected, alongside experience handling complex disputes with appropriate supervision. Candidates should demonstrate excellent drafting and analytical skills.
