An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Medical Negligence Lawyer to join the specialist Clinical Negligence team of a well-established and highly regarded law firm.
This part-time maternity cover role offers the chance to handle high-quality claimant work within a supportive and collaborative team, with hybrid and flexible working available.
The firm is also flexible on the part-time hours and days worked, allowing the successful candidate to agree a pattern that works for both parties.
The successful candidate will manage their own caseload with support from senior lawyers while delivering an exceptional standard of client care throughout the life of each claim.
Typical duties include: Managing a claimant medical negligence caseload from instruction through to conclusion.
Handling matters including misdiagnosis, psychiatric injury and fatal claims.
Preparing evidence, witness statements, schedules of loss and court documentation.
Instructing counsel and medical experts while liaising with defendants and other parties.
Providing compassionate, professional support to clients throughout often sensitive and complex matters.
The successful candidate will have: A minimum of 3 years' experience as a Solicitor or Legal Executive handling claimant medical negligence matters.
The ability to independently manage a varied caseload with minimal supervision.
Excellent organisational, communication and client care skills.
A sensitive and empathetic approach when supporting clients through challenging circumstances.
A collaborative attitude with a commitment to delivering high-quality legal services.
