We are working with a well-established law firm looking to appoint a Private Client Solicitor or Legal Executive to join their growing team. This is a client-facing role offering the opportunity to manage a varied caseload across wills, probate, and wider private client matters within a supportive and professional environment.
The successful candidate will be a confident communicator, able to work with sensitivity and discretion while delivering high-quality legal services.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing a caseload of private client matters including wills, probate, and estate administration
- Drafting legal documents such as wills, lasting powers of attorney, and related applications
- Advising clients on estate planning, inheritance tax, and trusts
- Liaising with third parties including financial institutions, HMRC, and other professionals
- Handling Court of Protection and deputyship matters where required
About You
- Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with experience in private client work
- Proven experience handling probate, intestacy, and estate administration matters
- Strong understanding of inheritance tax and estate planning
- Excellent communication and client care skills
- Highly organised with the ability to manage a varied caseload independently
