A well-established and highly regarded regional law firm is looking to recruit an experienced Legal Secretary to join its Private Client team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative and professional environment where client care, attention to detail and team support are genuinely valued. The successful candidate will provide high-level secretarial and administrative support to fee earners within a busy Private Client department.
Duties will include:
- Supporting fee earners with day-to-day administrative tasks
- Managing diaries, appointments and meetings
- Opening, closing and archiving files
- Electronic filing and use of case management systems
- Handling incoming and outgoing post
- Liaising with clients both over the phone and in person
- Assisting with billing, time recording and compliance processes
- Supporting the preparation of Wills, LPAs and other Private Client documentation
- Assisting with the storage and retrieval of original legal documents
The ideal candidate will have:
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational ability
- Confident Microsoft Office skills
- Strong communication skills and a professional approach
- The ability to manage workloads effectively within a busy environment
