We are partnering with a specialist international disputes firm in London, who are seeking a Senior International Arbitration Associate with a following to join their growing arbitration team. The firm has a strong track record in high-stakes, cross-border disputes and offers a collaborative environment with genuine autonomy and visibility. You must be a senior practitioner with a client following and demonstrated business development capability, looking to step into a role within a boutique practice known for its agility and excellence.

Typical duties for the role will include:

  • Act on own caseloads, grow following and business opportunities.
  • Work with the International Arbitration Partner to assist on caseloads and grow the brand.
  • Setting strategy, drafting complex submissions, managing procedural steps, and conducting advocacy where appropriate.
  • Developing and managing client relationships, including originating new matters and leveraging existing networks.
  • Collaborating with partners and senior stakeholders across global offices on multi-jurisdictional disputes.
  • Supervising junior lawyers and contributing to internal knowledge development.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Qualified Solicitor or Barrister (England & Wales or other recognised jurisdiction).
  • Good specialist experience in international arbitration at recognised leading disputes or international firm.
  • An established client following.
  • Demonstrable ability to contribute to business development.
  • Excellent written and oral advocacy skills, with confidence handling complex cross-border disputes.
  • A commercially minded, proactive, and collaborative approach, with the ability to take ownership of matters.
