We’re seeking an experienced Immigration Lawyer to join our team, specialising in both individual and corporate immigration matters. This role involves advising businesses on visa applications, sponsor licences, and compliance, while also supporting individuals with matters such as asylum, citizenship, and deportation defence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert legal advice and representation across a wide range of UK immigration matters.
  • Assist businesses in obtaining sponsor licences to recruit international talent.
  • Advise employers on hiring non-UK nationals, including Skilled Worker visa requirements and compliance with salary and skill thresholds.
  • Guide businesses through Right to Work checks and ensure compliance with immigration regulations.
  • Support clients applying under the EU Settlement Scheme and those seeking Indefinite Leave to Remain.
  • Manage sponsor management systems and ensure timely updates.
  • Prepare and submit applications for visa extensions and other in-country immigration needs.
  • Maintain sponsor licence compliance and advise on Home Office duties.
  • Draft and submit applications related to visas, work permits, asylum, and other immigration issues.
  • Represent clients in hearings, tribunals, and appeals as needed.
  • Stay abreast of developments in immigration law, regulations, and policy changes.
  • Draft legal documents such as petitions, appeals, and legal briefs.
  • Liaise with government bodies, embassies, and consulates on behalf of clients.
  • Build strong client relationships through clear, practical legal advice and consistent communication.
  • Manage a varied caseload, ensuring deadlines are met and service standards remain high.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in immigration law, with a strong emphasis on business immigration.
  • In-depth knowledge of UK immigration law and Home Office procedures.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple cases in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.
  • Empathy, discretion, and the ability to build trust with clients from diverse backgrounds.
