We are working with a well-regarded specialist law firm in Harrogate that is looking to recruit a Legal Assistant to support its busy Family team. This opportunity would suit someone at the earlier stages of their legal support career who already has exposure to family law and is looking to continue developing within a supportive and professional environment.

The successful candidate will work closely with experienced solicitors, assisting with a range of administrative and client-focused duties while gaining valuable hands-on experience within a respected practice.

Duties Include:

  • Supporting solicitors with file management, correspondence and general administration
  • Preparing and amending legal documents and bundles
  • Liaising with clients, courts and third parties via telephone and email
  • Managing diaries, organising meetings and assisting with hearing preparation
  • Ensuring client records and compliance processes are maintained accurately

The Successful Candidate Will Have:

  • Previous experience within a legal administration or legal assistant role
  • Family law experience is essential
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

  • Confidence using Microsoft Office and case management systems
