We are working with an established organisation seeking an experienced HR Manager to lead and develop its people function.

This is a strategic and operational role, offering the opportunity to work closely with senior leadership to shape the people strategy, support organisational growth and ensure HR best practice is embedded across the business.

The successful candidate will combine strong employment law knowledge with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organisation, while leading key HR initiatives and managing day to day people matters.

Typical duties include

  • Develop and deliver the People Plan, supporting organisational development, workforce planning and succession planning.
  • Partner with managers to provide expert advice on employee relations, employment law, performance management and organisational change, including TUPE support.
  • Lead HR projects, develop policies and procedures, monitor HR KPIs and ensure compliance with employment legislation.
  • Drive employee engagement, talent management and culture initiatives across the business.
  • Line manage and develop the HR Operations Specialist, allocating workloads and maintaining a high standard of HR service delivery.

The successful candidate will have

  • Previous experience in a senior HR Manager or similar leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law and experience managing complex employee relations matters.
  • Experience supporting organisational change, restructures and strategic people planning.
  • Proven ability to influence and coach managers at all levels of an organisation.
  • Excellent communication, leadership and organisational skills.
