Our client is seeking a Paralegal to join its highly regarded Housing & Property Disputes team based in Central London. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Paralegal to join a specialist litigation team handling a broad range of housing and property-related disputes. The successful candidate will support solicitors on a varied caseload involving property disputes, housing litigation and related claims, while gaining exposure to high-quality work and excellent training opportunities. The role offers hands-on responsibility, client contact and the opportunity to develop litigation experience within a supportive and collaborative team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting solicitors on a range of housing and property disputes matters
- Assisting with litigation cases from initial instruction through to resolution
- Taking instructions from clients and preparing witness statements
- Drafting correspondence and legal documents
- Conducting legal research and case preparation
- Handling new client enquiries and assisting with case assessments
- Liaising with clients, experts, counsel and third parties
- Managing files and maintaining accurate case records
- Assisting with business development and marketing initiatives where appropriate
About You
- Previous Paralegal experience within a litigation environment
- Experience in property disputes, housing litigation or civil litigation (desirable)
- A Law degree, CILEx qualification or equivalent legal experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organisational and time management abilities
- Good attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- The ability to manage competing priorities and work to deadlines
- A proactive and client-focused approach
