We’re working with a well-established and reputable law firm who are looking to recruit a Legal Assistant to join their busy Private Client department. This is a great opportunity for an organised and client-focused legal support professional to provide full administrative assistance to Private Client Fee Earners, supporting matters such as wills, probate, and estate administration while ensuring excellent client care and file management standards.
Typical duties would include:
- Providing full administrative support to Private Client Fee Earners using the Proclaim case management system
- Preparing, organising, and maintaining legal files and supporting documentation
- Managing diaries, appointments, and client meetings
- Handling client and third-party calls and correspondence professionally
- Assisting with document execution, including witnessing wills and legal documents
The successful candidate:
- Previous experience in a legal assistant or legal administrative support role, ideally within Private Client
- Confident using case management systems and Microsoft Office
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload effectively
- Excellent communication and client care skills
- High attention to detail with accurate written work
