We are working with a well-established and respected firm who are seeking an Employment Solicitor to join their busy team. This is a full-time, permanent role offering exposure to a wide range of employment law matters within a supportive and collaborative environment. The role provides the opportunity to manage a varied caseload, including advising on contracts, workplace disputes, redundancy, disciplinary matters, and tribunal claims. You will work closely with experienced colleagues, receiving guidance and mentoring to support your ongoing professional development.
Typical duties would include:
- Advising clients on employment contracts, policies, and workplace procedures
- Handling disputes, disciplinary, and grievance matters
- Representing clients in tribunals and other employment proceedings
- Providing strategic advice to employers and employees on a range of employment matters
- Managing files from instruction through to resolution, maintaining high standards of client care
The successful candidate will be:
- Qualified as a solicitor, with 1–6 years PQE in employment law
- Confident managing a caseload independently while collaborating effectively with the team
- Detail-orientated, organised, and client-focused
- Proactive, commercially aware, and able to provide practical solutions to clients
