Electronic Design Engineer (Power Systems)

Due to continued growth, our client is currently seeking an Electronics Design Engineer with a focus on power systems and related areas to join their Power Electronics Team supporting product development.

This role provides the successful candidate with the opportunity to join a high performing team, focused on developing innovative solutions.

Role responsibilities/areas of work:

Contribution to the full product lifecycle across power electronics for control of actuation systems.

Support on the development of products from early/feasibility studies, through to certification and manufacture.

Technical areas including; Circuit Design, Prototyping and Testing, Hardware integration for motor control, feedback loops.

Cross team collaboration for the delivery of efficient and quality solutions, delivering high performance and innovative engineering solutions.

To be considered for this role, you will hold the following skills and experience:

Industry experience in the development of Electronic systems, working on projects from early stage/feasibility to manufacture.

Degree qualified within a relevant area of Electronic Design.

Experienced working within an industry that is highly regulated with adherence to stringent safety and security requirements.

Proven experience in Power Electronics, with areas such as Circuit Design, Motor Control and related.

Candidates must be happy to be site based in Stevenage.

Due to the nature of the industry being Defence related, candidates must hold British Citizenship (can be either sole or dual citizenship).
