A highly regarded Top 100 law firm is seeking an experienced Partner to join its growing Dispute Resolution team in Bristol. This is an excellent opportunity for an established disputes lawyer with a strong client following to play a key role in developing and expanding a successful regional practice.
The successful candidate will lead on a broad range of commercial disputes, develop new business opportunities, strengthen existing client relationships and contribute to the strategic growth of the team. The firm advises a diverse client base, including businesses, organisations and private individuals across a variety of sectors.
Duties
- Manage a varied caseload of commercial dispute resolution matters
- Develop and grow a client following within the Bristol and South West market
- Drive business development activity and generate new revenue streams
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, referrers and intermediaries
- Support and mentor junior lawyers while supervising work across the team
- Contribute to departmental strategy, growth plans and cross-referral opportunities
Successful Candidate
- 15+ years PQE with significant experience in commercial dispute resolution
- Established client following and a credible business growth plan
- Experience in partnership, shareholder and company disputes is desirable
- Strong track record of winning and retaining clients
- Excellent relationship management and business development skills
- Previous experience managing, mentoring or leading legal teams
