We are working with a highly regarded law firm looking to recruit a Commercial Solicitor to join their dynamic and collaborative Commercial & Technology team. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a diverse client base, including international organisations, UK mid-market businesses, and fast-growing entrepreneurial companies.

The role offers exposure to high-quality, often cross-border work, supporting clients across sectors such as technology, media, retail, and hospitality. You will play a key role in delivering commercially focused legal advice while building strong, long-term client relationships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Advising on, drafting, and negotiating a wide range of commercial and technology-related contracts, often with an international element
  • Providing clear, commercially focused legal advice on areas including data protection, consumer law, and intellectual property
  • Supporting clients as a trusted advisor on day-to-day legal matters, often acting as external legal counsel
  • Contributing to cross-team projects, including corporate transactions and restructurings
  • Building strong client relationships and supporting business development initiatives
About You
  • Qualified Solicitor with strong experience in commercial law and a solid understanding of contract law, data protection, IP, and related areas
  • Experience drafting and negotiating commercial agreements and advising on contractual risk
  • Interest or experience in technology, digital media, or data-driven industries
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex legal concepts clearly to a range of stakeholders
  • Commercially aware, proactive, and able to manage priorities effectively both independently and as part of a team
