We are partnering with an established full-service law firm who are looking to recruit a Property Solicitor to join their busy property department. This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor to work on a varied caseload spanning both residential and commercial property matters.
They are seeking a solicitor who enjoys high-quality work, building long-term client relationships and working as part of a friendly and collaborative team.
Typical duties for the role will include:
- Managing a varied caseload of residential and commercial property transactions.
- Handling freehold and leasehold residential sales and purchases.
- Advising on deeds of variation and shared ownership matters.
- Acting on the purchase and sale of commercial premises.
- Drafting and negotiating commercial leases for shops, offices and retail units.
- Advising on landlord and tenant matters including lease renewals.
- Liaising with clients, agents, lenders and other professional advisers throughout transactions.
The successful candidate will have:
- 2+ years’ PQE in residential and/or commercial property law.
- Experience managing property transactions from instruction through to completion.
- Strong knowledge of the conveyancing process.
- Excellent organisational and client management skills.
- A commercial mindset and the ability to develop professional relationships.
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
