We are partnering with an established law firm who are looking to recruit a Private Client Solicitor to join their growing private client team. This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor looking to develop their career within a supportive and collaborative environment.
They are seeking an organised and motivated solicitor with a genuine interest in private client work, who is keen to broaden their experience across a full range of matters while working closely with senior colleagues.
Typical duties for the role will include:
- Drafting wills and advising clients on appropriate will structures.
- Preparing and registering Lasting Powers of Attorney.
- Assisting with probate administration, including initial enquiries, asset searches and probate applications.
- Supporting estate administration, including liaising with beneficiaries and third parties.
- Preparing estate accounts and assisting with distributions.
- Assisting with Court of Protection and deputyship matters.
- Managing files with appropriate supervision.
- Maintaining accurate records, time recording and billing.
The successful candidate will have:
- 2+ years’ PQE in private client law.
- Experience across wills, probate and estate administration.
- A genuine interest in developing their private client expertise.
- Strong organisational, communication and time management skills.
- Confidence managing a busy workload with supervision.
- A proactive, professional and collaborative approach.
