We are partnering with a highly regarded London law firm who are looking to recruit a Head of Private Client to lead and further develop their established private client offering. This is an excellent opportunity for a senior private client solicitor to take on a leadership role within a supportive and progressive firm.
They are seeking an experienced private client practitioner with strong technical expertise across wills, probate, estate administration, trusts, tax planning, Court of Protection and deputyship matters, together with the ability to manage, mentor and grow a team.
Typical duties for the role will include:
- Leading and developing the private client department.
- Managing a varied and complex private client caseload.
- Drafting wills and advising on estate and tax planning strategies.
- Handling probate and estate administration, including complex and high-value estates.
- Advising on trusts, LPAs and Court of Protection matters.
- Supervising, mentoring and developing junior fee earners.
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Contributing to business development, networking and departmental growth.
The successful candidate will have:
- 8+ years’ PQE in private client law.
- Strong technical expertise across the full range of private client matters.
- Experience supervising and mentoring junior lawyers.
- Proven ability to manage complex caseloads efficiently.
