An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Corporate Senior Associate (5–8 years' PQE) to join a highly regarded Corporate team in London. Working with an exceptional client base that includes private equity sponsors, multinational corporates, financial institutions, founders and high-growth businesses, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality advice on a broad range of complex corporate transactions. This position offers an excellent platform for an ambitious lawyer looking to take on greater responsibility, lead transactions, develop client relationships and contribute to the continued growth of a successful and collaborative practice.

The role will include:

  • Leading mergers and acquisitions, including domestic and cross-border transactions.
  • Advising on private equity investments, venture capital transactions, joint ventures and corporate restructurings.
  • Drafting, negotiating and advising on complex transaction documentation.
  • Managing due diligence and transaction processes from instruction through to completion.
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships, acting as a trusted adviser on corporate matters.
  • Supervising and mentoring junior lawyers within the team.
  • Working closely with partners on business development initiatives and supporting the continued growth of the practice.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Between 5 and 8 years' post-qualification experience within a recognised Corporate practice.
  • Strong experience advising on M&A and a broad range of corporate transactions.
  • Excellent technical knowledge and commercial judgement.
  • Proven ability to manage transactions and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Experience supervising or mentoring junior team members.
  • Outstanding communication, drafting and negotiation skills.
  • England & Wales qualification.
