We are working with a well-established law firm seeking an NQ Employment Solicitor to join their growing Employment team based in Luton. This is an excellent opportunity for a newly qualified solicitor to develop their career within a supportive and highly regarded team. The successful candidate will gain exposure to a broad range of contentious and non-contentious employment matters, working closely with both employers and employees.

Duties

  • Managing a varied caseload of employment matters
  • Providing advice on employment contracts, policies and procedures
  • Supporting clients with disciplinary, grievance and redundancy processes
  • Assisting with Employment Tribunal claims and litigation matters
  • Drafting legal documents and correspondence
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships
  • Supporting senior fee earners on complex employment matters

Successful Candidate

  • Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales
  • Previous employment law experience gained during training or post-qualification
  • Strong communication and client-facing skills
  • Excellent drafting and organisational abilities
  • A proactive and commercial approach to legal work
  • Ability to manage a varied workload effectively
