Corporate Associate

We’re working with a leading international law firm looking to
add a Corporate Associate at around 2–4 PQE to its London team.
This is a strong opportunity for someone coming from a
well-regarded corporate practice who wants to remain involved in
high-quality, sophisticated transactional work, while joining a
team offering a genuinely broad mix of M&A and corporate matters.
The team advises UK and international clients across a range of
sectors, with work spanning private M&A, cross-border
transactions, joint ventures, reorganisations and wider strategic
corporate matters.
The Role
You’ll work closely with partners and senior lawyers on
transactions including:
* UK and cross-border M&A
* Private acquisitions and disposals
* Joint ventures and strategic investments
* Corporate reorganisations and restructurings
* General corporate advisory matters
* Multi-jurisdictional transactions involving colleagues across
the firm’s international network
Associates are given good levels of responsibility and client
exposure, with the opportunity to take ownership of workstreams
and develop strong relationships with both UK and international
clients.
The Candidate
We’re looking for someone who:
* Is approximately 2 - 4 PQE
* Has trained and qualified with a strong UK or international law
firm
* Has solid Corporate / M&A experience
* Has experience of running or taking significant responsibility
for transactional workstreams
* Is comfortable working on complex, multi-party and cross-border
matters
* Has strong academics and technical ability
* Is looking for a long-term opportunity within an established
international corporate practice
Private M&A experience is particularly relevant, although
candidates with a broader high-quality corporate background are
encouraged to get in touch.
