We are currently supporting a leading technology company who are
looking to add a Repairs Technician to the team. This is a
full-time permanent basis.

Key Responsibilities:

· Diagnose and confirm customer-reported faults using defined
procedures, test equipment, jigs and fixtures.

· Disassemble and reassemble customer equipment, including
the replacement of standard components.

· Carry out PCB-level soldering and defined hardware
modifications in accordance with approved work instructions.

· Repair customer equipment using established procedures,
service tools and test jigs.

· Conduct structured testing, inspection and verification to
confirm successful completion of repairs.

· Ensure repair activities are completed accurately and
efficiently to meet product turnaround and service level
requirements.

· Maintain the availability, organisation and control of
spare parts within the designated repair area.

· Support internal and customer-driven hardware modification
programmes.

· Escalate technical issues, risks and potential delays
promptly to the line manager.

The ideal candidate must have:

· A methodical and quality-focused approach to fault
diagnosis, repair and testing.

· Higher-level education such as a GNVQ, BTEC or A Levels.

· Previous experience working within an electronics
manufacturing, repair or service environment.

· Experience undertaking PCB-level soldering and electronic
component replacement.

· The ability to work accurately and consistently within
defined procedures and quality standards.

· The ability to identify and escalate technical issues and
risks appropriately.

· A willingness to work within a fast-paced environment while
maintaining high standards of workmanship and documentation.

· The ability to obtain and maintain the required UK Security
Clearance (SC).
