We’re excited to be growing our team and are looking for an ambitious Recruitment Consultant to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and wants to develop a long-term career in professional recruitment. You’ll play a key role in connecting talented professionals with companies across the UK, while developing your own client base and becoming a trusted advisor in your market.
Main duties will include:
- Proactively sourcing candidates through Reed, CV Library and LinkedIn Recruiter
- Developing new business and nurturing existing client relationships
- Building strong, long-term relationships with both new and existing clients
- Formatting and presenting CVs to a high standard
- Taking detailed job briefs directly from clients
- Creating engaging job descriptions for our website and job boards
- Managing applications and actively searching for suitable candidates across multiple channels
- Providing an honest, consultative service to both clients and candidates
- Coordinating interviews and fully preparing candidates ahead of time
- Negotiating offers and managing expectations on both sides
The successful candidate will have:
- Previous experience in sales or an office-based customer service environment, with the confidence to speak to people at all levels
- Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to build instant rapport
- A confident, resilient and tenacious approach to challenges
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to stay on top of a busy workload
- Confident with everyday IT and willing to learn new software as needed
- A genuine desire to learn, grow and deepen your market knowledge
- A proactive, opportunity-seeking mindset with the drive to make things happen
