As a Sensory Coordination Officer, you'll be at the heart of our service, acting as the first point of contact for individuals seeking support and guidance. Using your excellent communication and problem-solving skills, you'll build rapport with customers, understand their needs, and ensure they receive the right support at the right time.
You'll develop a thorough understanding of sensory services, pathways, and support networks, enabling you to confidently assess enquiries, provide advice, and effectively triage customers to the most appropriate services. About You
- Strong communication skills with the ability to adapt based on customer requirements.
- Experience of working in a setting with direct sensory customer contact.
- Excellent digital & IT skills including use of text, phone, e-mail, Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook.
- Ability to use telephony and data retrieval systems.
- Experience of producing reports using Excel.
- Experience of accessing information sources, both electronically and paper based.
- Ability to work as part of a team demonstrating flexibility.
- Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality
- 55p paid per mile tax-free
- Up to 32 days annual leave a year (inclusive of bank holidays)
