Join ECL in an exciting new position within our Inclusive Employment team, supporting individuals with barriers to employment in finding and sustaining work and volunteering outcomes. The Volunteering Coordinator will be instrumental in ECL’s delivery of the Local authority funded Supported Employment programme LIVE.
You'll provide end-to-end support for individuals seeking volunteering, work experience, and/or community outcomes, using a person-centred approach to ensure individuals are matched based on skills and experience. You will be completing community profile assessments, providing support and/or job coaching, and working closely with organisations offering voluntary opportunities.
You’ll use your initiative, outstanding communication skills, and pro-active problem-solving ability to create pathways for our customers and ensure customer-centric outcomes are delivered in line with contractual targets.
About You
- Supported Employment Diploma Level 3 or Health and Social Care equivalent (holding or working towards)
- Experience delivering to an employment service or social care contract
- Experience working in a target-driven environment in line with KPI's
- Experience directly supporting individuals into employment or volunteering
- Understanding of the needs of employers and individuals with barriers to employment
- Experience providing employment support as part of a government scheme (desirable)
- A full driving licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes
- 55p paid per mile tax-free
