Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Project Engineer role based in Bromsgrove. The Project Engineer will plan, deliver, and commission projects involving CCTV, access control, power monitoring, environmental monitoring, and related security and infrastructure systems. Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing project requirements, preparing technical designs and documentation, coordinating with internal teams and external partners, and managing project timelines and resources. The role involves on-site installation support, testing, troubleshooting, and ensuring that solutions are integrated, secure, and aligned with client specifications and industry standards. The Project Engineer will also provide clear communication to clients, contribute to handover and training activities, and support ongoing service and maintenance where required.

Qualifications

  • Strong Project Engineering and Electrical Engineering skills, with experience delivering technical solutions in security, monitoring, or related infrastructure environments.
  • Proficiency in Project Management and Project Planning, including scheduling, resource coordination, risk management, and documentation.
  • Effective Communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, engage with clients, and explain technical concepts clearly.
  • Experience working with CCTV, access control, power monitoring, UPS systems, or environmental monitoring solutions is highly beneficial.
  • Relevant technical qualification or degree (e.g., Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or related field), or equivalent practical experience.
  • Ability to work safely on customer sites, interpret technical drawings, and adhere to industry and company standards and procedures.
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to customer locations as needed.
