ACE Project Manager – 18-month FTCUp to £60,000 and Car Allowance £7,965 (depending on experience)

We\’re looking for an ambitious ACE Project Manager to take ownership of the Assuring Competence in Engineering (ACE) card scheme—shaping it to meet industry needs, align with CSCS requirements, and set the standard for validated engineering competence. From modernising systems and governance to leading stakeholder engagement and industry-wide promotion, this is your chance to lead a high-impact scheme from development to business as usual.

About you
- Degree level education, occupationally related relevant qualification or extensive experience in a similar role.
- Extensive experience of working in either a Project Management or Product Management role including demonstrable experience of working effectively in a relationship and business management focused capacity.
- Experience of managing business and organizational change.
- Experience of working in an educational, government, or non-profit environment is desirable but not essential.
- Knowledge and understanding of software development, service and supplier management and integration of systems.
- Knowledge of Government procurement practices.
- Demonstrable experience in stakeholder management and risk management capability.

The ECITB works with employers and training providers to attract, develop and qualify the engineering construction workforce in a wide range of craft, technical and professional disciplines.
We invest about £28 million each year to support skills development within the industry. We are funded by a statutory levy paid by employers and use this to drive up skill levels and fund training that would otherwise not take place.
Along with the education sector, government and employers, we work to ensure the UK has workers with the skills to meet the needs of the engineering construction industry.
