Job Description

Cladding Designer (Predominantly Rainscreen) – Remote Working

Our client is a well-established façade and building envelope contractor looking to recruit an experienced Cladding Designer to support a growing project portfolio.

The Role

This position will focus primarily on rainscreen cladding design, while also offering exposure to a variety of other cladding and façade systems.

Working as part of a collaborative delivery team, you will be responsible for producing technical design information and coordinating with project stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce detailed cladding and façade design drawings.
  • Develop technical details for predominantly rainscreen cladding systems.
  • Coordinate designs with architects, consultants, main contractors, and specialist suppliers.
  • Assist with design development from pre-construction through to installation.
  • Ensure designs comply with project specifications, relevant standards, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in cladding, façades, or building envelope design.
  • Strong knowledge of rainscreen cladding systems.
  • Proficiency with Auto CAD (Revit experience advantageous).
  • Excellent technical detailing and coordination skills.
  • Ability to manage workload effectively while working remotely.
