Our client is a well-established specialist contractor delivering high-quality façade solutions across Yorkshire and the wider UK. Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit an experienced Site / Project Manager to oversee the successful delivery of projects across the Yorkshire region. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced construction professional with a background in Curtain Walling, Cladding, Glazing, and Windows & Doors who enjoys managing projects from installation through to completion while ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and client satisfaction.
The Role
As Site / Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing multiple projects or a single large-scale project, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. You will work closely with clients, subcontractors, installation teams, and internal departments to ensure the successful delivery of façade packages from commencement through to handover.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day delivery of curtain walling, cladding, glazing, and window & door installation projects.
- Plan and coordinate site activities, labour, materials, and subcontractors.
- Ensure projects are delivered safely, on programme, and within budget.
- Carry out regular site inspections and monitor quality standards.
- Liaise with clients, architects, contractors, and internal teams throughout each project.
- Attend site meetings and provide progress updates.
- Manage project documentation, RAMS, programmes, and site records.
- Identify and resolve on-site issues to minimise delays.
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety legislation and company procedures.
- Support successful project handovers and completion.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Site Manager or Project Manager within Curtain Walling, Cladding, Glazing, or Windows & Doors.
- Strong understanding of façade installation processes.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and leadership abilities.
- Experience managing subcontractors and site teams.
- Good commercial awareness and project management skills.
- Full UK driving licence.
- SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid qualifications are desirable.
