Technical Partners are seeking a skilled EC&I CAD Technician with strong AutoCAD Electrical experience to support industrial automation, control, and safety system projects across critical industrial and national infrastructure assets.
Key Responsibilities
- Producing accurate 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD
- Updating electrical and instrumentation drawings including:
- Single line diagrams
- Control panel designs
- Loop drawings
- Termination diagrams
- Cable schedules
- Electrical schematics
- Working closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to develop clear technical documentation
- Ensuring drawings meet company and client standards, specifications, and quality requirements
Essential Skills & Experience
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical
- Strong working knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to deliver accurate work to tight deadlines
- Previous experience in an engineering or technical environment within hazardous area industries
