Job Overview
Our clients are seeking an experienced Electrical Craft team member to join their Operations team at the Steelpark site in Wolverhampton. The ideal candidate will have a sound electrical background, proven track record of fault finding within a heavy industrial environment and have a desire to learn and develop.
The electrical craft team members work a 3 shift pattern, Monday β Friday and are responsible for proficiently servicing all process and auxiliary equipment within Steelpark, with a focus on reducing downtime and enhancing cost efficiency.

Salary between Β£37,760 β Β£44,840 based on experience including shift allowance

Responsibilities
Support the operations teams by performing necessary breakdown repairs.
Leading preventative maintenance activity and facilitating the promotion of engineering solutions for process improvement to ensure process availability, business objectives and productivity targets are maintained.
Reporting and recording of maintenance and repair details for all work activities, using the appropriate maintenance management and IT systems
To support the department in the development and implementation of processes which comply with the Tata Steel H&S Management System
Utilising the planned maintenance system (Pirana), raising emerging work orders detailing non conformities observed and proposed corrective actions necessary to resolve issues
Support the Engineering team to determine root cause and measures appropriate to prevent reoccurrence
Ensuring clear and concise records are maintained in order trends can be determined and corrective actions identified
Qualifications and Experience
Minimum NVQ level 3 or equivalent electrical trade
Apprentice trained (desirable)
Be able to demonstrate a sound electrical background
Up to date with current health and safety regulations
Experience of electrical maintenance and fault finding within a heavy engineering / industrial environment
