Salary: £39,624 basic (estimated take home pay up to £59,000 including overtime)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, overtime potential 50+ per week for 10 months of the year.

Job Summary
EC&I Partners are looking for a reliable and experienced Approved Electrician to join our clients Gas Engineering division. This is a permanent, full-time position with extensive overtime opportunities, primarily working on industrial electrical installations across the UK. The role involves regular travel and staying away from home.
Salary & Benefits
Basic salary: £39,624 – up to £59,000 (including overtime)
Overtime Pay:
Time and a half after 37.5 hours (including travel)
Saturdays: first 6 hrs at time and a half, double time thereafter
Sundays: double time all day
Holiday: 22 days + bank holidays (Option to purchase up to 5 additional days annually)
Pension: Company match up to 6% after 3-month probation
Training: Provided with supported career progression
Accommodation: Premier Inn (single room) provided when working away
Expenses: £25 per night when staying away
Healthcare Plan: Includes 24/7 GP access, dental, optical, physio reimbursements, mental health support
Life Insurance: 3x annual salary + redundancy & wellbeing cover
EV Scheme: Lease electric vehicle via salary sacrifice (includes insurance, servicing & tyres)
Key Responsibilities
Install tray work, conduit, trunking, SWA cabling, and distribution boards
Conduct electrical installations in industrial environments
Comply with site health & safety and CDM regulations
Follow site supervisor instructions and ensure quality standards
Represent the company professionally when dealing with clients
Qualifications
Qualified Electrician (C&G / Apprenticeship / AM2 or equivalent)
18th Edition Wiring Regulations
Inspection & Testing (C&G 2391 or equivalent)
Valid CCNSG Safety Passport
Desirable Skills & Attributes
SHEA Passport and SCO1 & 2 (preferred, not essential)
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Flexibility to travel and stay away from home (Monday-Friday)
Proactive and able to work independently
Knowledge of site-based health & safety procedures
