The Role
Technical Partners are working with a leading UK energy infrastructure organisation to recruit an Electrical Project Manager to join their high-performing Installation project delivery team. As Electrical Project Manager, you will take ownership of delivering complex engineering projects, leading multidisciplinary teams to ensure successful execution across scope, budget, schedule, and quality. You’ll play a key role in driving project performance, managing risk, and ensuring compliance with rigorous safety and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day delivery of engineering projects, aligning priorities with wider organisational goals
- Manage full project lifecycle: scope, cost, schedule, and quality
- Lead and motivate multidisciplinary project teams (up to 20 personnel)
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental and quality standards
- Track, monitor and report project performance and forecasts
- Manage contractors and supplier relationships
- Identify and mitigate risks while driving continuous improvement
- Coordinate with wider operational teams to ensure alignment with long-term asset plans
- Support knowledge sharing and lessons learned across the programme
About You
We’re looking for a strong electrical project leader with a background in complex engineering environments. You will ideally have:
- Experience delivering large-scale engineering or infrastructure projects
- Background in power generation, energy, or heavy engineering
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
- Experience managing contracts and suppliers (EPC/EPCM environments beneficial)
- Solid understanding of project risk, commercial and technical delivery
Qualifications:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering discipline
- Project Management qualification (APM, PMP or equivalent)
- Health & Safety certification (IOSH / NEBOSH)
