Job Overview:
Join our clients as a Compex Electrician to assist with building electrical skids and kiosks. You will support with a variety of electrical tasks including project installation work, control panel manufacture, pre-testing and pre-commissioning of completed projects and PAT testing.
Other Electrical duties shall include working from a range of technical drawings to complete project installation works. Communicate suggestions for editing of electrical drawings to instigate improvements, modifications and innovations.
Salary (based on 40 hours per week):
Additional 15% uplift for site work.

Key Responsibilities:
– Ensure all statutory inspections on EC&I equipment is carried out in a timely manner.
– Electrical installation work, including inspecting and testing.
– Where required, prepare and maintain written schemes of examinations of the site electrical distribution and electrical equipment to ensure continued safe and efficient use.
– Prepare and maintain inspection and proof testing procedures for control and safety instrumented systems to ensure that they continue to operate in the way that they were initially designed
– Pre-Testing and pre-commissioning of completed projects.
– PAT testing.
– Ensure that project work is completed, following all EUK and industrial standards.
– Fault finding
– Assist in the implementation of the clients Quality Assurance, Environmental Management System, abide and promote its Policies and Procedures.
– NVQ in Electrical Installation
– 2391 Inspection and Testing
– City & Guilds 18th Edition.
– Compex EX01 – 04 certification. (preferred, if not training will be provided)
– Previous industrial installation experience.
– Flexibility to travel within the UK and Europe, with overnight stays.
– Strong attention to detail, ability to work independently or in teams.
– Full, clean driving license and personal transport.
