What You Will Do
As a High Voltage Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Overseeing the maintenance, inspection, and upgrading of high voltage electrical systems across the site.
- Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and internal standards.
- Optimising system performance and supporting uninterrupted power supply to operations.
- Troubleshooting electrical issues and managing planned maintenance activities.
- Coordinating with contractors and internal stakeholders to deliver high-quality outcomes.
- Providing technical expertise to support capital projects and upgrades.
You\’ll also play a vital role in driving improvements to enhance the reliability, efficiency, and sustainability of our HV systems.
What You Will Need
To be successful in this role, you\’ll need:
- A degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Significant experience managing and maintaining high voltage infrastructure in a heavy industrial setting.
- Strong knowledge of electrical safety regulations and HV maintenance best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- A proactive approach to risk management and continuous improvement.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
