What You Will Do

As a High Voltage Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Overseeing the maintenance, inspection, and upgrading of high voltage electrical systems across the site.
  • Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and internal standards.
  • Optimising system performance and supporting uninterrupted power supply to operations.
  • Troubleshooting electrical issues and managing planned maintenance activities.
  • Coordinating with contractors and internal stakeholders to deliver high-quality outcomes.
  • Providing technical expertise to support capital projects and upgrades.

You\’ll also play a vital role in driving improvements to enhance the reliability, efficiency, and sustainability of our HV systems.

What You Will Need

To be successful in this role, you\’ll need:

  • A degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Significant experience managing and maintaining high voltage infrastructure in a heavy industrial setting.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical safety regulations and HV maintenance best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • A proactive approach to risk management and continuous improvement.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
