Overview

Compex Electrician – Location: Mogden Sewage Treatment Works, TW7 7LW (Twickenham, London). Start Date: Immediate. Hours: Monday – Friday, 37.5 – 40 hours per week. Employment Type: Contract (Outside IR35). Rate: Β£35ph (Ltd, CIS, umbrella pay models available).

Our clients are a leading provider of electrical and instrumentation engineering solutions across the UK. EC&I Partners are seeking a number of CompEx Electricians to join the team at Mogden Sewage Treatment Works, Twickenham, one of Thames Water\\\’s key operational sites.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and inspect electrical and instrumentation equipment on site.
  • Carry out hazardous area inspections and compile detailed reports.
  • Coordinate inspection schedules and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Work in accordance with UK BS EN 60079 standards (parts 14 & 17).
  • Collaborate with site teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and to high standards.

Requirements

  • Time-served electrician with industrial/COMAH site experience.
  • CompEx Ex01-Ex04 (Gas & Vapours)
  • NVQ 3 or equivalent
  • 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations.
  • CCNSG Safety Passport.
  • City & Guilds 2391 (Electrical Inspection & Testing desirable)

Experience

  • Proven background in hazardous area inspections and working with Ex equipment.
  • Knowledge of instrumentation systems.
  • Strong understanding of UK BS EN 60079 standards.
  • Previous experience within Petrochemical, Chemical, Water, Steel, or Oil & Gas industries.
