This is an on-site role based in our Christchurch office, with 2 Work-From-Home (WFH) days per week unlocked after successfully passing probation. No Recruiters.

The Market we are a managed sourcing engine. We capture engineers and procurement teams actively researching technology via SEO, a 1M+ social media footprint, AI LLMs, and direct traffic. We funnel this intent into over 900 product technology areas, supporting 400+ active partners ranging from prototype-stage startups to global prime contractors.

The Role: As a Business Development Manager, you own top-of-funnel opportunity generation. Your objective is to map the market, execute targeted outreach, and book qualified discovery meetings for our Account Executives. Because of our aggressive global tradeshow schedule and strong industry reputation, you are rarely contacting cold. You will heavily leverage warm introductions, event follow-ups, and our established brand authority to build your pipeline.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Prospecting: Build high-fidelity prospect lists across the autonomy, defense, and marine supply chains using AI tools and market research.
  • Outbound Execution: Run intelligent, high-volume outbound campaigns (call, email, LinkedIn). Engage CMOs, VPs of Sales, and Founders to challenge their current marketing ROI and pitch permanent digital visibility.
  • Event Infiltration: Travel globally to major industry tradeshows (e.g., DSEI, Xponential, Oceanology). Capitalize on our reputation by executing pre-booked meetings and engaging targets face-to-face on the floor.
