We are looking to add to our finance team and are seeking an experienced Commercial Contracts Manager to look after all contracting requirements for the Echo Business Unit. This role will suit experienced/qualified candidates looking for an all‑round Contracts Management opportunity.

The Role

The Commercial Contracts Manager is responsible for drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and managing the full lifecycle of commercial agreements. The role ensures contracts protect the company’s interests, comply with legal and regulatory requirements, and support strategic business objectives. The position works closely with Sales, Legal, Finance, Software, Procurement and the Senior Leadership Team to enable efficient, compliant, and commercially sound deal execution.

  • Drafting and negotiating commercial agreements including customer contracts, vendor agreements, licensing terms, NDAs, and partnership deals.
  • Managing the end‑to‑end contract lifecycle from intake and review through execution, renewal, and amendment.
  • Ensuring robust controls feeding into accounting processes.
  • Advising internal teams on contract terms, commercial risks, and negotiation strategies.
  • Ensuring accurate and timely invoicing and collections, making sure customers have their invoices with appropriate information to facilitate payment in a timely manner.
  • Ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements relevant to the company’s products, services, and markets.
  • Maintaining contract templates, playbooks, and clause libraries to improve consistency and efficiency.
  • Tracking contractual obligations and key dates to ensure compliance and timely renewals.
  • Collaborating with Sales and Finance on deal structuring, pricing considerations, and revenue‑related terms with an eye on delivering on our targeted revenue plans.
  • Supporting procurement activities by reviewing and negotiating supplier and technology contracts.
  • Driving process improvements across contract workflows, approval paths, and documentation standards.

What You’ll Need

  • Strong experience drafting and negotiating commercial contracts in a corporate, legal, or procurement environment.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders.
  • Understanding of contract law principles and commercial risk management.
  • Ability to manage multiple complex agreements in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Proficiency with contract management systems and related tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with high attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business, or related field; legal training is a plus.

  • Familiarity with data protection and privacy regulations such as GDPR.
  • Professional contract management certification (e.g. WorldCC/IACCM).
