The Role:
We’re looking for a proactive and experienced Project Manager on a 9 month FTC basis, to lead the delivery of complex software implementations, including our flagship cloud-based billing and CRM solutions built on the Salesforce platform. You’ll be responsible for managing cross-functional teams, client relationships, and project governance to ensure successful delivery on time, within scope, and to budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end delivery of software implementation projects, from initiation through to go-live and post-deployment support.
- Develop detailed project plans, resource forecasts, and delivery schedules aligned with client expectations.
- Manage project governance, RAID logs, change control, and stakeholder reporting.
- Coordinate internal and external teams including developers, analysts, testers, and client-side stakeholders.
- Monitor project performance using KPIs and dashboards, driving continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with data protection, security, and regulatory standards throughout the project lifecycle.
- Identify and mitigate risks, resolve issues, and maintain momentum across workstreams.
- Support financial tracking and forecasting, ensuring delivery within agreed budgets.
- Facilitate workshops, sprint planning, and retrospectives in Agile or hybrid environments.
- Build strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor throughout the implementation journey.
What You’ll Need:
- Proven experience managing software implementation projects, ideally within utilities, energy, or public sector.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce, SaaS platforms, and system integration.
- Skilled in project governance, stakeholder management, and cross-functional coordination.
- Experience working with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methodologies.
- Proficient in tools such as Jira, MS Project, SharePoint, Visio, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.
- Project Management certifications (e.g. PRINCE2, PMP, AgilePM) are highly desirable.
