Contract: 2–3 Month Daily Rate Contract

Team: Digital Experience

The Opportunity

We’re supporting a global professional services organisation looking to bring in an experienced Service Design Manager on a 3–5 month contract to support a key transformation programme within their Digital Experience team. The focus of this role will be helping reimagine and evolve four core services, exploring how they could expand in functionality, integrate new capabilities (including AI) and better support both internal teams and clients.

You’ll step into a programme that has already delivered an MVP release, helping the team build on this foundation — interrogating the brief, exploring new service possibilities and shaping how these services evolve as part of a broader transformation agenda. A key part of the role will involve running and facilitating a regular series of workshops, bringing together stakeholders from across the business to align on opportunities, shape service direction and move initiatives forward.

This role would suit someone comfortable operating in complex enterprise environments, quickly understanding the landscape, aligning stakeholders and helping teams move from early ideas to tangible service improvements.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Lead service design activity within a major transformation programme
  • Facilitate regular workshops and co-design sessions with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders
  • Help reimagine four core services, exploring how they can evolve, scale and deliver greater value
  • Build on an existing MVP, identifying opportunities to expand functionality and improve the service experience
  • Interrogate early-stage ideas and translate them into clear service concepts and design direction
  • Map end-to-end services, journeys and ecosystems to identify improvement opportunities
  • Navigate complex stakeholder landscapes and align teams around a shared vision
  • Work closely with transformation, technology and product teams to support service evolution

What We’re Looking For

  • 8–10+ years’ experience working specifically in Service Design roles
  • A strong track record designing end-to-end services within complex organisations
  • Experience working on large-scale transformation programmes
  • Proven ability to facilitate workshops and manage senior stakeholders
  • Experience taking early-stage ideas or MVP services and evolving them into more mature offerings
  • Strong experience working in B2B or enterprise environments
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and aligning multiple stakeholders
  • A portfolio demonstrating service design thinking, facilitation and tangible impact

Useful Experience

  • Exposure to AI or GenAI-enabled services
  • Experience in professional services, consulting or regulated sectors
  • Experience redesigning enterprise or operational services
  • Experience working with MVPs or early-stage service concepts

Please note this is a PAYE contract which comes with annual leave and pension contribution + excellent benefits. No option to pay through limited company. This role would suit someone immediately available or available within two weeks, who enjoys stepping into complex programmes and helping shape how services evolve.
