Looking for an adventure? Our client is hiring for a Senior Research Manager to join a fantastic Health Care agency in Sydney on a 6-month fixed-term contract — and they’re looking for UK-based candidates open to making the move. This is a genuinely lovely team who are smart, warm, collaborative — doing high-quality strategic work across both qual and quant. They care about doing things properly, thinking deeply, and making a real difference to their clients. You’d be working alongside great people who know their stuff, but also know how to have fun.

The role’s a mix of hands-on delivery and client-facing consulting — you’ll lead some projects and support others, always close to the thinking and impact.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Running or supporting qual and quant projects, from briefing to debrief
  • Designing screeners, discussion guides, surveys and stimuli
  • Moderating fieldwork (IDIs, groups, ethnos, online) and digging into analysis
  • Turning insight into sharp, commercially useful stories and recommendations
  • Collaborating with internal teams and being a trusted voice with clients
  • Writing and presenting in a way that’s clear, engaging, and actually gets listened to

What they’re looking for:

  • Circa 6 years of experience in strong end-to-end research experience from a Health Care Market research agency (qual, quant or mixed methods)
  • Someone who enjoys solving problems and asking the right questions
  • Experience working closely with clients and managing projects
  • A down-to-earth, proactive attitude — you get stuck in and make things happen
  • Open-minded and up for a change of scene

Why it’s worth the move:

  • You’ll be doing proper strategic work with a great bunch of people
  • The culture is genuinely supportive, smart and fun
  • The clients are engaged and the work makes a difference
  • Sydney lifestyle speaks for itself (sunshine, coffee, beach before work?)
  • Potential for the role to go perm/sponsor.

If you’re a senior-level researcher ready for a change of pace and scenery — or just curious — drop me a message and we can chat through the details.
